:You are not being consistent: :1). Mike's brand new motor saw 7,000 rpms with what had to be less than 100 miles on it. My motor had 1,000 miles on it and saw 500 rpms more.Actually it was more like 6800(click) and we used the dyno to bring the revs down instead of just pushing in the clutch and yours was more like 7600(click) with a huge drop from pushing in the clutch and removing the load. Mike's motor actaully had about 1300 miles on it when we took it to the dyno...I know because I put them on the car personally :-). 2). Penzoil? Who said it was Penzoil 10w/30? Quite frankly, I am not sure what it was but I can go back and check. At the very least, I know it is the exact same oil that ALL of the 700-1,100 rwhp Supras Chris has built used on their dyno runs. Well wether it was "penzoil" or another brand it was still 10W/30 which is too thin and *not* synthetic(Click) 3). The bearings were not blackened. Hmmmm interesting....so NO blackening of the crank or rods from heat??? I am really ready to see some pictures and get a full report of what happened so we can figure this out. That was my prediction but like I said...I could be wrong :-).
